Week 47: Gender-Based Violence Online Gathering

Week 47: Gender-Based Violence Online Gathering

You can find the 2021 gathering here.

On November 22 we addressed gender-based violence in Palestine and in Israel’s occupation of Palestine. We were joined by Dr. Dorothy Jean Weaver, the retired professor of New Testament at Eastern Mennonite Seminary. She spoke on “Women of Empire within Matthew’s Narrative.” We then discussed how these biblical stories and lessons can inform our activism around the world and for Palestine.

Zoom Meeting: https://zoom.us/j/94679502800 (You might need to do a quick registration. This link is the same, either way.) Remember, if you’d like to receive a reminder about the gathering an hour before it begins, please use the registration form at the bottom of the page.
