Week 15: Home Demolitions Online Gathering

We learned how Israel’s current home demolitions are used as psychological warfare, attempting to physically force Palestinians from their homeland and disincentivizing them from staying in their villages. Our guest were Daniel Seidemann and Faten Khoury.

Daniel Seidemann is an Israeli attorney specializing in the geopolitics of contemporary Jerusalem. In 2010, Daniel founded Terrestrial Jerusalem, an Israeli non-profit organization that works to identify and track developments in Jerusalem. Prior to founding Terrestrial Jerusalem, Daniel conducted legal work with Ir Amim, where he took on cases defending individuals, families and communities who were negatively impacted by the wall and the expansion of Jewish settlements in and around Jerusalem. His writing has appeared in +972 Magazine and other places, and he’s written the book
